The host list displays each domain that has sent mail to or received mail from your mail server.
You can use the list to connect to a host, view statistics about the host, view the status of messages being sent to the host, and stop messages from being delivered to the host.
To view the host list:

Open Mac OS Server Admin and log on to the server you want to administer. |

Press the Mail Services button and choose Show Host List. |

To connect to a host:

Select the host in the host list and click the Attempt Connection Now button. |
To view DNS or network statistics for a host:

Select the host in the host list, then click the Show Host Info button. |

Click the DNS Info tab or the Statistics tab. |
To see information about messages being sent to a host:

Select the host in the host list, then click the View Messages button. |

For each message, you can see
• |
message ID, size, and sender |
• |
time of delivery (or last delivery attempt) |
• |
number of recipients for whom this mail server is responsible |
• |
number of errors (recipients that did not receive the message) |
• |
number of recipients to whom the mail server is waiting (still attempting) to deliver the message |
• |
number of recipients who got the message |

To stop a message from being delivered to a host:

Select the host in the host list, then click the Show Host Information button. |

Select the message. |

If you wish, click the "Notify sender of Stop Delivery" checkbox. |

Click the Stop Delivery button. |
